3.15 DRAWING GRAPHIC OBJECTS

LibreOffice Impress allows users to create and manipulate a variety of graphic objects to enhance their presentations.
LibreOffice Impress provides various types of drawing graphic objects, such lines, rectangle, ellipse, etc.

3.15.1 Drawing Line

The steps to draw a line on the slide are as follows:
Step 1: Select the slide in which you want to draw a line.

Step 2: Select the Lines and Arrows button in the Drawing toolbar.
A drop-down list appears with different types of line and arrow shapes.
Step 3: Select the desired shape in the drop-down list. In our case, we have selected a Straight Connector ends with
Arrow.
Step 4: Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the mouse to draw a shape with the desired size and release
the mouse button.
OR
Click on the slide to draw a line with the default size.

The line shape will be drawn on the slide.

3.15.2 Drawing Shape

The steps to draw a shape on the slide are as follows:

Step 1: Select the slide on which you want to draw a shape.
Step 2: Select the desired shape button in the Drawing toolbar. In our case, we have selected the Symbol Shapes
button.
A drop-down list appears with different types of symbol shapes.
Step 3: Select the desired shape in the drop-down list. In our case, we have selected Sun.
